Blog Carnival – 2nd Edition

Welcome to the 2nd edition of the LivingNewAge blog carnival. For the past month other bloggers submitted their articles and I have selected the most interesting ones from them and listed them as part of this article (blog carnival).

Again, the situation repeated itself so I received many irrelevant submissions this month. To name a few, people submitted articles about how to select a dress for prom, how to fix your computer, what it is like to marry a man from Europe and so on ;-)

Anyway, although a lot of good articles that were on the topic had been posted, I have decided to choose only 12 articles that I liked the most and list only those in the blog carnival. And here they are, again, in the order that they were submitted:

Michael Miles presents Enjoying every situation posted at Effortless Wealth and Abundance. Michael  mentions how important it is to feel good all the time and suggests how to achieve feeling good in every situation.

SpiKe presents 3 Practical Steps For Controlling Your Negative Self-Talk – Practical advice on personal development, productivity and GTD posted at Organize IT. The article describes what steps we can take to become aware of thoughts that are negative, and how to control them.

Lotus Essence presents 10 Tips to Master the Law of Attraction posted at Lotus Essence. It is a good list of tools that you can use to start making the law of attraction work for you.

Stephen Martile presents How to Improve Memory Quickly posted at FreedomEducation.ca by Stephen Martile, saying, “Hi,

When I was in my teens I might go to a social or party and meet a dozen new people. And at the end of the night I may remember one or two names – if I was lucky. My memory was terrible, or at least that’s what I thought.

Memory is not something you don’t have; it has little to do with genetics or environment. For most people, it’s a just a muscle that is underused and underdeveloped.”. Steve describes in his article how to use visual strategy from NLP to improve your memory.

Pat Doyle presents How To Arrange Your Bedroom For Good Feng Shui posted at Feng Shui Crazy, saying, “The bedroom is one of the most important rooms for Feng Shui. You spend one third of your life in bed, and a restful sleep is important for your general energy level.”. This is a great article worth reading, I am a huge fan of feng shui.

WP presents Walk Your Way to Emotional Freedom posted at The Conscious Life, saying, “Walking can be a meditative experience if you apply mindfulness to it. Learn how walking meditation can help you to let go of your worries and fears, and live in the now.”

Kathleen Gaga presents Getting “hooked” helps you grow spiritually posted at Daily Awareness, saying, “It is during the times life offers up incredible challenges that the greatest test of our level of gratitude is experienced”. Make sure you watch the video that is linked in the article ;-) .

Mina Irfan presents How to Attract and Keep a Mate: The First 7 Steps posted at The Universe Guru, saying, “I was able to attract my soul mate using the Law of Attraction. I am now happily married to my soul mate and would like to share my secrets with others.”. Mina writes how to attract your ideal partner.

Chris Cade presents It?s All Fun And Games Until Somebody Loses An I posted at Chris Cade’s Blog, saying, “This surprisingly simple approach can turn your inner most critic into your best supporter.”

Carole Fogarty presents Walking Meditation: posted at THE HEALTHY LIVING LOUNGE, saying, “Walking meditation is the perfect alternate if your body and mind are too restless to sit. Its also a lovely change from the usual meditation practices. No great skill or understanding is required simply the attention of your mind – on your breath, foot steps and the ground.”

Stephen Martile presents Can Your Mind Cause Physical Symptoms? posted at FreedomEducation.ca by Stephen Martile, saying, “Hi,

I had a massive headache on Thursday of last week. It was so bad that it woke me out of bed at 4:00am. I’ve never had a headache this bad before. I rarely take medication, but the pain was so unbearable I decided to take two ibuprofen before going back to bed.

Did my mind cause that headache pain?”.

Mina Irfan presents Random Acts of Kindness posted at The Universe Guru, saying, “One of the most selfish things you can do is to to spread the joy of a random act of kindness. Yes, I said selfish. Giving to others, is truly feeding your soul. It will light up your entire existence. Try it! Here are a few suggestions:”

That concludes this edition. Hope you liked the carnival and the articles listed above. 4. Nice, article.I Also Agree With you Meditation is not contemplation. Meditation is not concentration. Meditation is a state of being. It is a state of awareness. Meditation is not about doing something; rather it is about doing nothing. So Check out more Intresting techniques and Guidene about Maditation only at [Gurumaa.com]
